I just replaced the rear license plate screws with M6 x 1.0 x 16M Hex Flange Bolts. So the 2012 has the same screws as the earlier 2003-2008 models I got them from Home Depot. If you do not have a plastic license plate surround and just want to attach the plate directly to the mount you can get the shorter M6 x 1.0 x 12M Hex Flange Bolts instead.
